Clay McNally

Clay McNally joined Synergy Financial Group in May, 2011 as a Financial Consultant specializing in the areas of Life, Disability & Long-Term Care insurance for individuals and businesses. His experience over a 20-year career in business and estate planning, retirement planning, wealth distribution, charitable giving strategies and college funding has helped families and businesses to keep their financial strategies in line with their financial goals. He has expanded his business in the ever-evolving world of 401(k) and other retirement plans.

Clay graduated in 1981 from the University of Maryland, University College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. He is insurance licensed in multiple states and maintains his Series 6 and Series 63 FINRA registrations through LPL Financial. A supporter of local business in Baltimore, Clay was a founding member and past president of the Downtown Towson Rotary Club. Also, as an active alumni member of his alma mater, Clay has served as President of the Board of Trustees of Alpha Tau Omega for the past 15 years.

In 2013, Clay was awarded a professional degree in the field of long-term care, Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC). The program is independent of the insurance industry and focuses on providing financial service professionals the tools needed to address their client’s long-term care needs.

“It is my responsibility to help people understand the emotional, physical and financial consequences associated with providing or paying for care over an extended period of time. It is essential they have this information so they can take action to protect those they love while they have options. I am committed to helping my clients create an appropriate plan to address their specific needs,” says Clay.

Clay and his wife, Diane, have a son and daughter and live in the Lutherville area of Baltimore County. He is active with scouting, Talmar Gardens and Habitat for Humanity and enjoys skiing, fishing, camping and golf in his spare time. He also serves on many committees at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Ruxton
