Clay McNally

In May 2011, Clay McNally joined Synergy Financial Group as a Financial Consultant with a specialization in Life, Disability, and Long-Term Care insurance for both individuals and businesses. With over 20 years of experience in business and estate planning, retirement planning, wealth distribution, charitable giving strategies, and college funding, Clay has assisted families and businesses in aligning their financial strategies with their financial objectives. Additionally, Clay has expanded his business in the ever-evolving world of 401(k) and other retirement plans.

Clay earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from the University of Maryland, University College in 1981. He maintains his Series 6 and Series 63 FINRA registrations through LPL Financial and is licensed to sell insurance in multiple states. Clay is a supporter of local businesses in Baltimore and is a founding member and past president of the Downtown Towson Rotary Club. He has also served as President of the Board of Trustees of Alpha Tau Omega for the past 15 years.

In 2013, Clay was awarded the Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC) professional degree, which focuses on providing financial service professionals with the tools to address their client’s long-term care needs. Clay believes it is his responsibility to help clients understand the emotional, physical, and financial consequences associated with providing or paying for care over an extended period of time. He is committed to helping his clients create a suitable plan to address their specific needs.

Clay and his wife, Diane, reside in the Lutherville area of Baltimore County and have a son and daughter. In his free time, Clay enjoys skiing, fishing, camping, and golf. He is also an active member of his community and serves on several committees at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Ruxton. Additionally, he supports scouting, Talmar Gardens, and Habitat for Humanity.
